Fun, Frank Ocean, Mumford & Sons, Jay-Z, and Kanye West were all nominated for six awards each. These artists top the list and also usher in a great sense of diversity that hasn’t been seen in recent award shows. Rhythm and blues album, “Kaleidoscope Dream”, was not only nominated for Best Urban Contemporary but it also has been listed as the best R&B album of the year.

One pop artist that did not receive any nominations is Justin Bieber. His manager, Scooter Braun, eagerly took to Twitter to share his disappointment, “He deserved to be recognized and I don’t really have any kind nice positive things to say about a decision I don’t agree with”. This does not take away from the success of his recent album or the overwhelming amount of awards Bieber received at the American Music Awards.

Tune in on February 10, 2013 at 8/7c on CBS to see which of your favorite artists win big!
